Treating Sleep Apnea and Snoring with Silent Nite® sl

The Silent Nite® sl oral appliance can be prescribed by our dentists for patients suffering from sleep apnea. Comprised of two small, flexible plastic trays worn over the teeth, the device holds the jaw in proper position to maintain good airflow during sleep. Once the jaw is adjusted into alignment, the soft tissues of the mouth, throat, and nasal passages can be kept from blocking or collapsing the airways. Clinically shown to reduce the symptoms of sleep apnea, Silent Nite® sl is made for nightly wear, designed to maximize comfort, and has helped many of our patients find relief from sleep apnea.
It takes just two appointments to get your Silent Nite® sl guard. During the first appointment, we take impressions of your upper and lower teeth and send them to the lab for custom fabrication of your appliance. Once your Silent Nite® sl is made and sent back to our practice, you return for your second appointment to try it on. After your fitting, your appliance is ready to help you and your partner get a better night’s sleep.
