Our Dentists Attend Non-Traumatic Tooth Extractions Course
Technology in dentistry is currently going through major innovations and it is our goal to stay at the forefront so that we can deliver the benefits of these new technologies to our patients. On December 4 and 5th, 2015 three dentists from Dr. Iniguez’s practice drove from Los Algodones down to Ensenada, Baja California to take part in an educational course on trauma reduction during tooth extractions. The course was given by Dr. Juan Felipe Sanchez and sponsored by Piezo Art. In the world of surgical and cosmetic dentistry, a piezoelectric tool is powered with ultrasonic technology that offers the ability to cut bone and other hard surfaces without damaging soft tissue like your gums. The use of piezoelectric instruments in dentistry is becoming much more common due to their effectiveness demonstrated in numerous studies.
